Obituary of Jason Warren
The death occurred suddenly in White Horse, Yukon on Thursday, January 4th, 2024 of Jason Michael Warren of White Horse and formerly of Summerside, PEI, aged 48 years. Jason was born in Summerside to his late father Michael Warren and his mother Marie (Arsenault) Warren. Survived by his daughter Emma Coughlin, brothers and sister Nancy (Mitchell) Baglole, Randy (Sheri) Warren and Trevor Warren (Chelsea) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his grandparents Harold and Eda Warren and Beatrice Dykens. Resting at the East Prince Funeral, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday February 17th, 2024, where a funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside at a later date. Memorial donations in Jason’s memory can be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
