Obituary of Norman H Little
The death occurred suddenly at his late residence on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 of Norman Little of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 65 years. Norman was born in Summerside to the late James and Barbara (Gallant) Little.
Beloved husband of Sherry (Gillis) Little and loving father of Amy Little, Hayley Little (Justin Martin), stepfather of Katlyn Paynter and Ryan Paynter. Also lovingly remembered by his 9 grandchildren Milo Ann, Zoey, Gene, Annabelle, Blaze, Aria, Nash, Bennett and Madelynn.
Survived by his brothers and sister Tommy (Tanisha), John-Paul (Jessica), Heather (George), Alex, special family friends Debbie and Rick Schweers, Aunt Linda Little, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his brother Jamie Little, stepson Jacob Bernard, grandparents Evelyn and Ralph Little and Harry and Gertrude Gallant, special uncle Doug Little and his furry companion Mackey.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday February 19th, 2024 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations in Norman’s memory can be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or PEI Humane Society. Visiting hours on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
