Obituary of Gerald Ronald Sherren
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PEI on Friday March 29th, 2024 of Gerald Ronald Sherren of Summerside and formerly of Augustine Cove, PEI, aged 72 years. Gerald was born in Augustine Cove to the late Marvin and Shirley (Waddell) Sherren.
Beloved husband of Lucille (Gaudet) Sherren and loving father of Becky Sherren (Charly) and Tanya Sherren. Also lovingly remembered by his 2 grandchildren Jayden and Jaxen.
Survived by his brothers and sisters Debbie Kleinridders, Barry "Doc" (Nancy), Ricky and Cindy (Dave) Grey and by several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in-law.
Predeceased by his sister Brenda Sherren.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday April 5th, 2024 where a Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Donations in Gerald's memory can be made directly to the Prince County Hospital Foundation.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
