Obituary of Susan Gallant

The death occurred on Thursday, April 18, 2024 of Susan Amanda (nee Mokler) Gallant of Summerside, PEI, aged 45 years. Susan was born in Summerside to Willard and Alice (nee Perry) Mokler.

Beloved wife of Jason Gallant and loving mother of Sophie and Charlotte. Survived by her brother and sisters Janice (Mike) MacKinnon, Nancy (Michael) Richard and Tommy Mokler (Anna), her nieces and nephews, and mother-in-law Vera Gallant. Predeceased by her father-in-law Hubert Gallant. Also survived by her siblings-in-law Donna Dunphy (David), Kathy MacDonald (Bobby), Danny Gallant (Chantalle), Richard Gallant, Michelle Murphy (Shawn) and Chris Gallant.

Susan was a dedicated registered nurse of 23 years, lovingly caring for many newborns and children within the PEDS/OBS unit of Prince County Hospital in Summerside. She will surely be missed by her co-workers past and present with whom she worked so tirelessly. Nursing was her calling in life.

Susan, your beautiful spirit and goodness will continue to shine in all of us. Wherever you are, we hope the skies are bluer, the colours are brighter, the hills are higher, and the world is kinder. We will love you forever.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral 245 Pope Rd., Summerside.

Funeral Mass to be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Summerside, Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. followed by a private family burial in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside.

There will be no public visting hours by request of the family. 

In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Education Fund for Sophie and Charlotte can be made through the East Prince Funeral Home.
