Obituary of Eileen Marie Perry
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her late residence on Sunday, May 5th, 2024 of Eileen Marie (Gaudet) Perry of North Carleton, PEI, aged 75 years. Eileen was born in Fernwood P.E.I. to the late Raymond and Nettie (Gallant) Gaudet. Beloved wife of George Perry and loving mother of Teena (Fred) Chamberlain and Chris Perry. Lovingly remembered by her special granddaughter Jenna.
Survived by her sisters Noreen Arsenault, Eleanor Creelman and Muriel DesRoches, brother Howard Gaudet and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Michael Perry (infancy), brothers and sister Lloyd (Marion), Alan, Arnold (Mary), Donald, Ivan, Florence Gaudet, brother’s in-law Agno Arsenault, Charles Creelman and Everett DesRoches.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, May 9th, 2024 where a funeral mass will be held in St. Peter’s Church, 7 Mile Bay at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations in Eileen’s memory can be made directly to the St. Peter’s Parish. Interment to take place in the church cemetery following the funeral mass. Visiting hours Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
