I consider myself fortunate to have had opportunities to spend with Mary, Garth and family many years past... as time moved us forward, there would be fleeting moments where we reconnected and each time brought back the glowing embers of those treasured moments. Mary was a beautiful woman who had a gentle and gracious spirit which permeated not only the family but by all who met her. I thank God for Mary's life and pray that Garth and family will be drawn ever closer to the Author of Love and one another.

Dear Garth - So sorry to hear of Mary's passing, but also pleased for you that you had a good life, shared a faith together through many good years. It was a pleasure getting to know you and Mary through the events at Canoe Cove Christian Camp - particularly the evenings of games at Seniors Camp. I particularly remember Mary at one meal, when the cooks had prepared rice for the starch portion of the meal and Mary said, "Rice!? But we're potato farmers!" It brings a smile to remember her and know she wasn't complaining about the food, but stating her love of her background and what had provided her living and her sustenance in this life. Wishing you peace as you recover and cherish your memories.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
