Obituary of Kevin Chester Billie Getson

The death occurred suddenly on Saturday, May 25, 2024 of Kevin Chester Billie Getson of Carleton, PE. aged 57 years.  Kevin was born in O’Leary to his father the late Billie Getson and his mother Gale (MacDonald) Getson.

Loving father to Kyler (Micheala Smith) Getson, Kayla (Chad) Hudson, Amanda Getson, stepsons Jeff and Michael Arsenault and loving grandfather to Tatum, Chase, Chloe, Connor, Carter and Ruben.

Survived by his sisters Terry (Carl) Lewis and Tammy Jo Moores.  Will be dearly missed by his special friend Allie Jeffery, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Predeceased by his grandparents Chester & Annie (Wallace) Getson and Brent & Eva (Dumville) MacDonald, brother-in-law Shawn Moores, granddaughter Amelia Getson, uncles Dennis MacDonald and James Getson

Resting at East Prince Funeral Home Summerside PE.  At the families request there will be no funeral or visiting hours held.  A Celebration of Life will be held on June 8, 2024 at The Miscouche Royal Canadian Legion Branch #18 at 5:30pm. Interment to take place in The Greenmount Cemetery, at a later date. Donations in Kevin’s memory can be made directly to the PEI Wildlife Federation.
