Burnsie was a brother to me. Lots of great times, lots of great talks, not to mention, lots of laughs. I'll steer the good water until we meet again. Gone but not forgotten. I love you buddy, lost without you.

Andrew was like a nephew to me - as the "Murray Family" have been like
siblings to me! Such heartbreaking, devastating news for everyone that
knew him and loved Andrew - such a handsome, young man.
Love & Hugs to everyone from the "Ontario Shields Family" xoxo

I served with and played hockey with Andy (Burnsie) in the 1st Battalion, the Royal Canadian Regiment. He was a great soldier, quick with a smile, and a rock solid hockey player, who contributed to the 1st inter-unit Championship that 1 RCR had ever won. I have a picture at home of him screaming, he was so happy. We would not have won without him. We were also on the Petawawa Base Hockey team that competed for hockey nationals, winning a silver medal together. I am deeply saddened to hear of Andy's passing. I suggest people read the poem A Soldier Died Today. We will remember him, Pro Patria, Major David Johnston. https://canadianprovostcorps.ca/honpoem.htm#:~:text=Honour%20Roll%20%2D%20Poem%2C%20%22A%20Soldier%20Died%20Today%22.&text=He%20was%20getting%20old%20and,They%20were%20heroes%2C%20every%20one.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
