To Greg, Rebecca and Thomas,
Sincere condolences. I did not know Darelene very well and we met online, in several work meetings.
She was a lovely, friendly person with a beautiful smile.
She will be missed.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your most loved "Darlene." She was most certainly a friend of everyone, an exceptional co-worker and just all around wonderful person. I cannot stop thinking about her and the last encounter I had with her at the tax center. It's so hard to believe that she won't be with us anymore. Hugs to all her close family and friends

I can’t begin to relate the sadness this brings to me.
We shared many years of stories, laughter, and dreams while we worked together in T1 and most recently in T2. Darlene loved her work and enjoyed the challenges of simplifying the manuals.
She talked to me about her children often with pride and love. Rebecca and Greg she was extremely proud of you.
Gary I will keep you and all of your family in my thoughts and prayers for strength and comfort during the days ahead.
My deepest condolences.

So very sad to hear this . Our condolences to all of Darlene’s Family.
I had the pleasure of working with Darlene for many years. She made working in the “T1 world” a pleasure, and one of my favourite areas to work.
Becca and Greg, she spoke of you both often, she loved you both with all her being. And oh so very proud to be your Mom.
May you both get strength and courage to move on without your Beautiful Mom, and know she is watching over you both from above.
God bless you Darlene.

My sincere condolences to all of Darlene's family members and her many friends. Darlene and I went to school from K-12 right through to Mount A, where we lived in the same residence at Bigelow House. Many great times were had over the years and Darlene always had a wonderful smile and welcoming laugh to share. May your legacy as a kind, caring, compassionate friend live on.

So sorry to hear of Darlene’s passing. We worked together and she was the absolute best co-worker and free with her laughter too. Darlene shared with me her love for her family. She was so proud of her children.
May your memories bring you comfort at this sad and difficult time. My sympathies to the entire family. Loses of the great ones are so hard.

Aunt Darlene was a very special lady who is loved by so many. She had a funny sense of ‘Doucette’ humour, loved to laugh and smile, and always a welcoming person. I will cherish the many visits to the island, her visits to Toronto and being roommates on my most recent visit to the island. RIP Aunt Darlene. XOXO

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
