Obituary of Justine Joan DesRoches - Pierce
It is with heavy hearts that we annouce the death of Justine “JJ” Joan DesRoches - Pierce of O’Leary, PEI and formerly of Kensington, PEI and Summerside, PEI on Friday June 28th, 2024, aged 22 years. Justine was born in Summerside to her parents Troy (Ashley) and Rebecca (Ralph).
Beloved partner of Seawna Ramsay. Survived by her sisters Corie (Ricky) Goode, Janesta Cornish, stepbrother Chance MacKinnon, nephews Keenan, Jace and Jayden, grandparents Bob (Jeanne) Pierce, Rose Pierce, Joan Arsenault, Claude and Linda Cornish, Rankin and Betty Ann MacKinnon and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Predeceased by her grandmother Marilyn Murray.
Resting at East Prince Funeral 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday July 4th, 2024 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Donations in Justine’s memory can be made to the funeral expense fund. Visiting hours on Thursday from 1:00 until time of service.
ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
