Obituary of Blair George Perry
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024 of Blair George Perry of Summerside, aged 61 years. Blair was born in Summerside to his father the late Alfred Perry and his mother Margaret (Mike) Charbonneau.
Survived by his brother Kevin (Shelly) Perry, sister -in-law Sue Perry, nieces Emily (Chris) Gallant, Jenna (Devin) Hardy and nephew Nathan Perry.
Predeceased by his brother Tony Perry.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday August 1st, 2024 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Blair’s memory can be made directly to The Real Us Blair's day program and respite providers. Visiting hours on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
