Obituary of Marjorie Pearn
The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, August 8th, 2024, of Marjorie Alberta Pearn, of Summerside, aged 91 years.
Marjorie was born in Timmins, Ontario to her late parents Leonard and Bessie Toms.
Beloved wife of the late Dudley Pearn and loving mother of Patrick Pearn. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Phillip (Christina), Ian (Holly), and Robin (Glenna).
Also remembered by her great-grandchildren; Quin, Erica, Malin, Talon, Chloe, and Lily.
Survived by her nephew Christopher and niece Randi.
Predeceased by her children; Andrew Pearn, Angela (Edmond) Gallant, and siblings Donald Toms and Deanna Toms.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd, Summerside. Interment to take place at a later date in the Lot 16 United Church Cemetery.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
