Obituary of Layton Frank Sonier
The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, August 9th, 2024 of Layton Frank Sonier, of Summerside, aged 80 years. Layton was born in Summerside to the late Patrick and Dorothy (Grady) Sonier.
Loving father of Tammy Sonier (Dwight Dougay). Also remembered by his granddaughter Jenna Boucher who will forever remember her Grampy Onier.
Survived by his siblings Patsy (Ronnie) Gallant and Kline Sonier.
Predeceased by his half brother Ervin Sonier Sr.
Layton worked at Three Oaks Senior High School for over 33 years as a custodian.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd, Summerside, until Wednesday, August 14th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow in St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery,
