Obituary of Sheila Dianne Perry
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital on Sunday, August 11, 2024 of Sheila Dianne Perry (Fraser), of Summerside, aged 76 years.
Sheila was born in Alberton, daughter of the late Lorne and Margaret (Ramsay) Fraser.
Beloved wife of the late Charles Perry and loving mother of Rhonda Fraser, Jennifer Templeton (Louis), Doug Perry, and Susie Perry (Darrell). Also remembered by her grandchildren Benjamin, Maggie, Amanda, Madison, Kelly, Kayla, Jacob and Alison and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Survived by her sister Faith (Wayne) Gallant, special friend Vincent Bernard, daughter-in-law Lisa Freeman-Perry, and sons-in-law David Neily, and Peter McKenna.
Predeceased by her siblings Lorraine (Bobby) Hippenstall, Wanda (Art) Cannon, Verna (Enson) Perry and Winston “Bud” Fraser.

Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd, Summerside until Friday, August 16th, 2024 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment at People’s Cemetery, Summerside following the service. Donations in Sheila’s memory may be made directly to the PCH Foundation. Visiting hours on Friday, August 16th from 1:30 p.m. until time of service.
ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
