Obituary of Anne Louise Perry
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, with her loving husband by her side, on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, of Ann Louise Perry (Murphy), of Summerside, PEI.
Born in Norboro, PEI. Daughter of the late Albert and Mary Murphy (nee McAleer)
Survived by her husband, Gerard “Gerry” Perry, brother Emmett, sister Mae (Garry) Chapman, brothers-in-law Walter Perry, Donald (Brenda) Perry, Earl O’Hanley, sister-in-law Audrey Murphy and numerous nephews and nieces.
Predeceased by sisters Alberta (Carman) Smith, Eileen (Austin) Trainor, Noreen O’Hanley, brother Louis Murphy, brother-in-law John “Jack” Perry, parents in law Alby and Mildred (Ted Wedge) Perry.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd, Summerside until Monday, October 21, 2024. Funeral service at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Summerfield, PEI at 11:00 a.m. Visitation at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Donations in Ann’s memory may be made directly to the Prince County Hospital.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
