Obituary of Glen Arsenault
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PEI on Monday November 4th, 2024 of John "Glen" Arsenault of Kensington, PEI and formerly of Miscouche, PEI aged 62 years. Glen was born in Miscouche to Aubrey and Auldine (DeCoste) Arsenault.
Partner to Donna Gorrill and loving father of Cassie and Chris Arsenault of Halifax, NS. Survived by his brother and sisters Vickie (Glen) Petrie, Gail (Art) MacLeod, Cindy (Glenn) Collacutt, Sharon (Stephen) Johnston, Sheldon Arsenault (Diane Lawlor) and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his paternal grandparents Hilda Landry and Arthur Arsenault, maternal grandparents Lucy and Charles DeCoste.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, November 7th where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment to take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Miscouche. ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
