Obituary of Norman Ford
The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Tuesday, November 26th, 2024 of Norman Ford of Arlington, PEI. Norman was born in Arlington to the late Seaman and Helen (Yeo) Ford.
Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by his sisters Helen (Arthur) MacKinnon, Annie (Hinson) Williams, Jennie (Oswald) Yeo, Beulah (Laurence) MacDonald and his brother Alfred (Francine) Ford.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Rd. Summerside. A private funeral service will be held. Interment to take place in Saint James Anglican Cemetery, Port Hill, PEI. Donations in Norman's memory can be made directly to the PEI Humane Society. https://peihumanesociety.com/

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
