Obituary of Aubrey DesRoches
The death occurred at his late residence on Thursday, December 19th, 2024, of C. "Aubrey" DesRoches of Summerside and formerly of Miscouche, PEI, aged 72 years.
Aubrey was born in Montague, PEI son of the late Ben and Emily (Arsenault) DesRoches.
Predeceased by his brother, Donnie DesRoches.
Aubrey had a wonderful career as a Paint Expert starting over 48 years ago at Holman's, Aubrey's Paint and Paper and then at Callbecks Home Hardware for the last 27 years. He loved working with the staff there and seeing all of his customers.
He will be sadly missed by his many friends and his Callbecks Home Hardware Family.
No visiting hours or funeral service by personal request.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Donation in Aubrey's memory may be made directly to the Prince County Hospital, in gratitude for the great care he received.
ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
