Obituary of Margaret Noreen Cornish
The death occurred peacefully at her daughter’s home, on Monday, January 13, 2025 of Margaret Noreen Cornish (McNally) of Summerside, aged 89 years. Margaret was born in Lot 11, PEI to the late William and Mary (MacDonald) McNally.
Beloved wife of the late Claude Cornish and loving mother of Velda, (Michael) Sonier, Barb (Stanford) Paynter, Claude (Linda), Robert (Francie), Susan (Ron) Gallant, Harley ( Tracey).
Also lovingly remembered by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survived by the following brothers and sisters Mildred Arsenault, Harold, Myra (Cedric) Pineau, Dianne (Ronnie) Luke, Gerald (Nancy) and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers and sisters Everett, Eugene (Elsie), Wilna (Fabien) Connely and brother in-law Vince Arsenault.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday January 17th where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Joseph Church Kelly’s Cross at a later date. Donations in Margaret’s memory can be made directly to the Alzheimer’s Society. Visiting hours Thursday January 16th from 5 - 7 p.m.
