Obituary of Donald Wayne Hill

It is with profound sadness that I announce the death of my father, Donald (Wayne) Hill on January 14, 2025. Wayne was born on May 28,1956.  He was the son of the late Arnold and Eva Hill of Carleton Siding. Wayne was also predeceased by his brothers Carter and Barry Hill, and his sister Dianne MacMillan. 

Wayne was a gentle, jovial, kind, resilient and hard working person. His family meant the world to him. His daughter, Stacey, was his pride and joy. His passion for family, life, and his unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.  He is survived by his daughter, Stacey Hill (Sadie MacLean) and brother Brian Hill (Sandy MacKenzie), who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

There will be no visitation. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Donations in Wayne’s memory can be made to the Winter Street Men’s Shelter if you so wish.
