Obituary of Perry, Leonie Marie
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, September 17th, 2020 of Leonie Marie Perry (nee Gallant) of Summerside and formerly of Cornwall, ON., aged 68 years. Leonie was born in Mont-Carmel, P.E.I. to the late Aubin and Jacqueline (nee Arsenault) Gallant.
Beloved wife of Lloyd Perry and loving mother of Tammy Cote (Deacon Guy Cote) and CPL RET. Dale Perry. Also lovingly remembered by her 3 grandchildren, Jessie, Linden and Taylor, 1 great grandchild MacKinnley and several nieces and nephews.
Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Jean-Eudes Gallant, Jim (Zita) Gallant, Adrien (Jackie) Gallant, Jeanne Gallant, Paul Gallant, Cecile (Reg) Robichaud and sister-in-law Zelma Arsenault.
Predeceased by her brother Gerard "Gerry" Arsenault and sister-in-law Maureen Gallant.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. A private funeral service will be held. Interment to take place in Notre Dame du Mont-Carmel Cemetery, Mont-Carmel at a later date. Memorial donations in Leonie's memory to the Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
