Obituary of Cameron, Fred K
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, August 14th, 2020 of Fred K Cameron of Summerside, aged 88 years. Fred was born in Milburn, P.E.I. to the late Ernest W. and Annie (Darrach) Cameron.
Beloved husband of Ellen (Cornish) Cameron and loving father of Judy (Gordon) Schurman, Carl (Bonnie) Cameron. Also lovingly remembered by 3 grandchildren Megan Gill (Jacob Dunlop), Christy (Matt) Shaw and Paige Cameron (Brendan Murphy), 5 great grandchildren, Nathan, Addison, Leah, Emma and Isabelle.
Survived by his sisters and brothers in-law Jessie Cameron, Vernon (Pixie) Cornish, Roy (Anna) Cornish, Fairley (Eric) Phillips and Bev Cornish and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers Harold (Mildred) Darrach and Ernest Cameron, brother in-law Ken Cornish, sister in-law Evelyn Cornish and nephews John Cornish and Kent Phillips.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held. Interment to take place in the Bloomfield United Cemetery, Bloomfield. Memorial donations in Fred's memory to Bloomfield United Cemetery, Bloomfield would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
