Obituary of Gallant, David Joseph
The death occurred suddenly at his late residence on Thursday, July 2th, 2020 of David "Bubba" Joseph Gallant of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 61 years. David was born in Summerside, P.E.I. to his father the late Antoine "Buck" Gallant and his mother Dorothy Gallant.
Survived by brothers and sisters Karen (John) Bernard, Johnny all of Summerside, Stephen (Heather) of Borden, Nancy (Eldon) Richard of Abrams-Village, Tracy Gallant of Freetown, brother in-law Pierre Loignon, several nieces and nephews and special fur friend Molly.
Predeceased by his sister Debbie Loignon, brother James Robert Gallant (infancy) and nephew Curtis Gallant.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Completed funeral arrangement to be announced at a later date. Memorial donations in David's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Church Cemetery, Summerside at a later date.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
