Obituary of Wood, Gary George

The death occurred peacefully at Toronto, Ontario on Monday, June 29th, 2020 of Gary George Wood of Scarborough, Ontario and formerly of Springfield West, O'Leary, P.E.I. aged 65 years. Gary was born in O'Leary, P.E.I. to his late parents George Leonard and Rita Doreen (Ellis) Wood. Loving father of Allan (Danielle) Wood, Summerside, P.E.I., Jamie (Jill) Wood, Alberta, B.C., Jeff (Becky) Reid, Lindsay, O.N., and Jesse Lynne Wood, Oshawa, O.N. Also lovingly remembered by his 8 grandchildren Kale Wood, Riley Gallant, Jade Gallant, Lexi Wood, Rhys Wood, Kolton Reid, McKenna Reid and Ian Blondin. Survived by his sister Cathy Wood, Summerside, P.E.I. and Nephews Trevor (Lynne) Matthew Summerside, P.E.I. and Travis Matthew, Summerside, P.E.I. Predeceased by his brother Dale Wood, Grandparents George Sherwin and Hazel "Jean" (Harris) Ellis, Arnold William Colston and Edna Merideth (Clark) Wood and several aunts and uncles. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, for a private family service. A Celebration of life and Interment to be announced at a later date.
