Obituary of Cahill, Wiilis "Bill"
The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday, April 21st, 2020 of Willis "Bill" Cahill of Summerside, aged 85 years. Bill was born in Alberton, P.E.I. to the late Jean Cahill.
Beloved husband of the late Mary "Emily" Cahill (nee Clow) and loving father of Michael (Jacqueline) of Slemon Park, Barbara Cahill (James) of Everett, Mass., U.S.A., Mitchell (Kelly) of Summerside, Leonard (Amanda) of Summerside, Ron (Marcia) of Charlottetown, John (Nora) of Alberton and Cindy Bedard (Keith) of Edmonton, AB. Also lovingly remembered by his 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Survived by his sister Mary Charlton of Halifax, NS.
Predeceased by his step-father, Kenneth Watson of Nova Scotia, and grandson Dougie Cahill.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Due to COVID-19 wake and funeral services will not take place. Instead, a celebration of life will be arranged at a later date when all family and friends can safely gather. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Church Cemetery at a later date. Donations in Bill's memory to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
