Obituary of Wood, Wyatt Jameson Denman
Wyatt Jameson Denman Wood died peacefully in the loving arms of his parents in the NICU of the IWK Hospital on Tuesday morning, April 14th, 2020. Precious baby son of Sarah Denman-Wood and Paul Wood (Stratford, PE) and beloved little brother to Freddie. Grandson of Wayne and Kathleen Denman (Summerside, PE), and the late Margaret Cross and late Fred Wood (UK). During his precious few days, Wyatt loved the sound of Daddy?s voice telling him stories, Mummy?s singing and being wrapped up and cuddled in their adoring arms. Our littlest love was only here for a short while, but Wyatt made deep impressions on the hearts of all he met with his stubborn strength, full head of auburn hair and beautiful face.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 10:30 am at the Midgell Cemetery, Midgell, PE. Friends and family are welcome to attend, Covid guidelines are in place and guidance will be given at the cemetery. Memorial donations in Wyatt?s memory to the Prince County Hospital Maternity Ward or the NICU at the IWK would be greatly appreciated as the staff at both hospitals were lights in our darkest hours.
ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
