Obituary of Perry, Sadie Annie
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Saturday April 30th, 2022 of Sadie Annie Perry (nee Gallant) of Summerside, P.E.I. aged 80 years. Sadie was born in Palmer Road, P.E.I. to the late Cecil and Veronica (nee DesRoche) Gallant. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Perry and loving mother of Donald (Alice) Perry, Donna Lee (Clayton) McCormack, Carl (Joyce) Perry and Harvey Perry. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Joey Gallant and Joeleen Fox, great grandchildren Joe, Austin, Morgan, Jordan, Nadia and Bradley.
Survived by her sisters Audrey Doucette, Shirley (Lewis) Riley, Alice (Joe) Gallant, Dora (John) DesChamp, Doreen (Clayton) Gallant and Judy Bernard, sisters in-law Alice Myers, Theresa and Sandy Gallant.
Predeceased by her brothers Francis "Pinky" Gallant, Carl Gallant, Joe Myers, Leonard Gallant and Bobby Gallant, sister Geraldine in infancy, step-father Peter DesRoches, brothers-in-law Edward Doucette, and Brian Bernard and sister-in-law Jean Gallant.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Road, Summerside, where a Private Family Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place in the St. Paul's Cemetery. Memorial donations in Sadie's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
