Obituary of MacDonald, Yvonne Bella
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, July 8th, 2019 of Yvonne Bella MacDonald (nee Arsenault) of Summerside, aged 92 years. Yvonne was born in North Bedeque, P.E.I. to the late Arras and Anne Arsenault.
Beloved wife of the late Bernie MacDonald and loving mother of Doug (Alfreda), Summerside, Sally (Brian) Bengert, Dartmouth, Greg (Karen), Summerside, Cathy Gregory, Charlottetown, Danny (Kay) and Jeff (Brenda) all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Survived by her brothers and sister Jean (Adrien) Arsenault, Ottawa, Gerald (Bunnie) Arsenault, Schurmans Point, David (Ruth) Arsenault, St. John, NB., sisters-in-law Peggy Arsenault and Jen Arsenault and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son-in-law David Gregory, brothers Ralph (Zeta) MacDonald, Wilfred Arsenault, Ellery Arsenault and George Arsenault, sisters Zelma (Frank) Doucette, Clare (Jim) Brown, Helen (Gordon) Corson, Lorena (Ray) McCarville, Eunice Deveny, Austina MacDonald and Louise (Henry) Perry.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, July 11th, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Yvonne's memory to St. Paul's Cemetery Fund or Prince County Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated. Visitation hours on Wednesday from 5 - 7 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
