Obituary of Rector, Harold William
The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, P.E.I., on Tuesday, April 9th, 2019 of Harold William Rector of Summerside, aged 80 years. Harold was born in Parrsboro, N.S. to the late Hubert and Ada (nee Parker) Rector.
Beloved husband of Myrna (nee Thompson) Rector and loving father of Dan (Cheryl) and Sharon (Neville). Survived by his sister-in-law Alice Rector.
Predeceased by his brother Wallace Rector.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Thursday, April 11th, where a private funeral service will be held. Interment to take place in the Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Tryon at a later date. Memorial donations in Harold's memory to the Church of Scotland would be greatly appreciated. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours held.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
