Obituary of Albert, Troy Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Sunday, April 7th, 2019 of Troy Joseph Albert of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 43 years. Troy was born in Summerside, P.E.I. to his mother Joyce (step-father Kenny), his father Noel Lewis, grandparents mom Josie (nee Gaudet) and dad the late Ivan Albert.
Beloved husband of Kelly (nee Cameron) Albert and loving father of Kyle Albert, Kendell Blood and Emily Albert.
Survived by his brothers and sisters Mellony Bevan, Gary Albert, Pauline (Gene) MacDonald, Terry (Geri) Albert, Ricky (Judy) Albert, Blair (Joyce) Albert, Kathy (Mario) Henry, Bloyce Albert, mother and father-in-law Danny, sister-in-law Dawna (Keenan) Blacquiere and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends.
Predeceased by his brother John Bennett and brother-in-law Kenny Cameron.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, April 12th, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Troy's memory to funeral expense fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
