Obituary of Stewart, Linda Louise
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019 of Linda Louise Stewart (nee Campbell) of Mount Pleasant, P.E.I., aged 68 years. Linda was born in McAdam, N.B. to her mother Beatrice (nee Hogan) Campbell of Summerside and also her late father, James Campbell.
Beloved wife of 50 years to David Stewart and loving mother of Dawn Stewart (Connie) of Miscouche, Kim Stewart (Albert) of St. Roch, and Amber Howard (Paul) of York. Lovingly remembered by her 4 grandchildren Jamie, Jeramie, Luke, and Ruth and also numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Survived by her sister Sandra Hippenstall of Summerside, her sisters-in-law Patsy Campbell of Oromocto, N.B. and Florence Stewart of Collingwood, ON.
Besides her father, Linda was predeceased by her brother Eldon Campbell, her sister Marie Manley, brothers-in-law Tony Hippenstall, Robert Stewart, John Charles Stewart, sister-in-law Sarah (Carl) Woodcock and father and mother -in-law Samuel and Dorothy Stewart.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place at a later date in Victoria West Cemetery. Memorial donations in Linda's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the P.E.I. Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. No visiting hours by personal request.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
