Obituary of Burrell, Priscilla Beatrice "Bea"
The death occurred peacefully at Andrew's Lodge, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday December 31st, 2018 of Priscilla Beatrice "Bea" Burrell (nee Cole) of Summerside, P.E.I, aged 85 years. Bea was born in Shannon, N.B. to her late parents Charles and Dorothy (nee Ellis) Cole.
Beloved wife of the late Andrew Burrell and loving mother of Thomas Burrell (Darla Miles), Connie (Cecil) Perry, twins Jim Burrell (Suzanne) and Mavis Burrell (Gerald Southam). Also lovingly remembered by her special granddaughter Kaylee Campbell and her sister-in-law Joan Cole.
Besides her parents and her husband, Beatrice was the last surviving member of her family, predeceased by many of her siblings. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, January 4th, 2019 then to the Summerside Baptist Church for a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in People's Cemetery, Summerside at a later date. Memorial donations in Beatrice's memory to the Alzheimer's Society of P.E.I. would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday evening, 5 - 7 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
