Obituary of Arsenault, Michael John
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael John Arsenault on Sunday March 13th, 2022 of Middleton, P.E.I. and resided in Charlottetown, P.E.I., aged 59 years. With his wife Carol (George) Arsenault of 36 years and family by his side.
Son of the late John and Joyce (Noonan) Arsenault. Loving father to Derek, Jennifer, Chelsey, Mitchell and their partners, papa to Ava, Alex, Connor, Carli, Conrad, Ciarra, Watson, Raella and Zakk, brother to Marie, Darlene, Ann, Sharon and their partners, brother in-law to Fred, Lorraine, Gerald, Geraldine, Pauline, Janet, Elsie, Darlene, Glady, Pam, Nancy and their partners. As well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Predeceased by his grandparents Emma and Ray Noonan, Archie and Mary Arsenault, brother Eric, nephew Randy, brother in-law Donnie and in-laws Vivian and James Brown.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, March 18th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. (Maximum 150 people). Memorial donations in Mike's memory can be made to the funeral expense fund. Visiting hours on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. (Maximum 100 people).

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
