Obituary of Gaudet, Claude Ernest
The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Wednesday, December 19th, 2018 of Claude Ernest Gaudet of Summerside P.E.I., aged 81 years. Claude was born in Summerside to the late Ernest and Lydia (nee Bernard) Gaudet.
Beloved husband of Florina "Flo" (nee DesRoches) Gaudet and loving father of Claudette (Wayne) Getson of O'Leary, Karen (Kevin) Morrell of Miscouche, and Donna (Ron) Dehmel of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Courtney, Bryanna, Ben, Matthew, Morgan, Mariah, and Emmanuel, and several nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters-in-law.
Survived by his brother Allan (Dorothy) Gaudet.
Predeceased by his son Ernest Gaudet, sisters Audrey (Robert) McFall and Lorraine (Archie) MacDougall and step-grandson Lucas Getson.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, December 22nd, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Claude's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday evening only, 5 - 8 p.m.
Please Note - Due to severe allergies of some family members, please refrain from sending scented flowers or wearing scents or perfumes during the wake and funeral service.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
