Obituary of Crossman, Heather "Lynn"
The death occurred with her loving family by her side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, August 18th, 2018 of Lynn Crossman (nee Sobey) of Central Bedeque, P.E.I, aged 69 years. Lynn was born in Summerside to the late Ray and Verna (nee Craig) Sobey.
Beloved wife of Dale Crossman and loving mother of Heather (Stephen) Gallant, Tony Osborne (Jo Prevost), Holly Osborne (Pat MacDonald), Krista (Rick) Campbell and Scott (Heather) Crossman. Also lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brothers and sisters Donna, Deanie (John), Craig (Mary), David (Kathy) and Estelle (Ian) and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sister Barb (Al), brother Wayne (Flo), grandson Gage Prevost and brother-in-law Fred.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, August 22nd, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place in the Central Bedeque Baptist Cemetery, Central Bedeque. Memorial donations in Lynn's memory to Palliative Care Unit Prince County Hospital would be greatly appreciated. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours held.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
