Obituary of Tomilson, Ronald "Ron" William
The death occurred peacefully at Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, P.E.I., on Friday, August 3rd, 2018 of Ronald "Ron" William Tomilson of Kensington, P.E.I. aged 79 years. Born in Tay Creek, NB. to the late William and Pearle (Dorcas) Tomilson.
Beloved husband of Jennifer (nee Shippey) Tomilson and loving father of Wendy (Edwin) Brown and Linda Cameron. Also lovingly remembered by his 4 grandchildren Janessa, Justin (Katelin) Cameron, Matthew, Andrew (Amanda) Brown, 3 great grandchildren Reid, Breton and Cailyn Brown.
Survived by his sisters Margaret Knox, Heather (John) Williams, brother Ralph (Theresa) Tomilson and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brother-in-law Len Knox.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Memorial donation in Ron's memory to the PEI humane Society would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
