Obituary of Perry, Joseph William
The death occurred at the QEH, Charlottetown, July 14th, 2018 of Joseph âJoe' William Perry of Summerside, aged 83 years. Joe was born in Summerside to the late John B. and Susan (Gallant). Loving father of Gary (Shelley), Charlene (Murray), Dale (Lynda); their mother Ethel Perry, and his daughter Judi. Survived by his grandchildren Tara, Matthew, Adam, Katelyn, Kurt, Blake and Blayne; great-grandchildren Jack, Emmett, Reuben, Logan and Taylor Jane; brothers and sisters John (Diane), Elmer (Marie), Theresa, Shirley, Lil and Nola; sister-in-law Sheila and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by wife Sheila Brantnal; Baby Perry in infancy; grandson Joshua; brothers Henry, Francis, Lawrence, Charlie and Babe; sister Marie; brothers-in-law Edward, Neal, Vic and Alvin âTing' and sisters-in-law Theresa, Mae and Flo. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Interment to take place in the St. Stephens Anglican Church Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Joe's memory to the Cat Action Team would be greatly appreciated. ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
