Obituary of Hegarty, John Francis

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday, July 4th, 2018 of John Francis Hegarty of Slemon Park and formerly of Victoria West, P.E.I. , aged 63 years. John was born in Toronto, ON. to his late parents John and Marion (nee Barnett) Hegarty. Beloved husband of Pamela (nee Beamish) Hegarty and loving father of Jason (Ashley) Hogan, Christopher Beamish, Kevin (Bobbi-Jean) Beamish, and Ashley Beamish (Glennie Barlow). Also lovingly remembered by his 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers Robert (Carol) and Daniel (Daliphina), sisters Jeannie (Albert) Daniels and Willma (Bruce) Reid and the following brothers and sisters-in-law: Marilyn Taylor, Clyde Carson, Barbara (Claude) Gallant, Thomas (Shirley) Beamish, James (Joanne) Beamish, Wayne (Connie) Beamish, Douglas Beamish, John (Hung) Beamish, Maria Beamish, and James Howe. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his son Wayne, his brother Rodrick Taylor, his sister Judy Carson, father and mother-in-law Thomas and Bessie Beamish and brothers and sisters-in-law Mike Beamish, Theresa Beamish, Elaine Beamish and Nelson (Linda) Beamish. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Interment will take place at Victoria West People's Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in John's memory to the Funeral Expense Fund would be greatly appreciated.
