Obituary of Waite, Annie "Mae" Josephine
The death occurred peacefully with her family by her side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, March 31st, 2018 of Annie "Mae" Josephine Waite (nee Winchester) of Kensington and formerly of Bayside, P.E.I., in her 95th year. Mae was born in Lot 16, P.E.I. to her late parents John and Annie (nee MacPhee) Winchester.
Beloved wife of the late Robert Waite. Loving mother of Doris Cameron of Lot 16, Roberta Cole of ON., Lloyd (Cheryl) of Bayside, Raymond of ON., Hal (Cilla) of Summerside, Lester (Mary) of New Annan, Jane (Gary) Campbell of Lot 16, Eldon of Miscouche, Carl (Noreen) of Mills Point, Kate (Dave) McAndrew of Kensington, Doug (Darlene) of Margate, Paul of Kensington, Thane of ON., and Sheila (Donnie) Mayhew of Kensington. Survived by her sister Edna McInnis of ON. Also lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Mae was predeceased by her sons Robert and Claude, her granddaughter Tracy (Cole) Freiwald and the following brothers and sisters; Meddie, Austin, Lea, Preston, Bob, Maude Winchester, Freda Cahill, and Georgie MacArthur.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, April 5th then to Lot #14 United Church, Birch Hill for a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Mae's memory to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visitation hours on Wednesday, 4 - 7 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
