Obituary of Hussey, Anne Gertrude "Eileen"
The death occurred suddenly at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, March 15th, 2018 of Anne Gertrude "Eileen" (nee Chappell) Hussey of Summerside and formerly of Grand River, P.E.I., aged 80 years. Eileen was born in Summerside to her late parents John and Ethel (nee Baglole) Chappell.
Loving mother of Sharon (Mike) Hennessey of Edmonton, AB., Joy (Wayne) MacInnis of Summerside, Danny Hussey (Dr. Bridget Thompson) of Ottawa, ON., Dale Hussey (Melanie Huntley) of Dartmouth, N.S. and Michael Hussey (Michelle Timmons) of Summerside and their father, Charles Hussey of St. John's , NL. Also lovingly remembered by her 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister Eleanor (Charles) Arsenault of Summerside.
Besides her parents, Eileen was predeceased by her sister Ella (Joseph) Praught.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday, March 19th where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Grand River at a later date. Memorial donations in Eileen's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visitation hours on Monday afternoon, from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
