Obituary of Albert, Judith Ann

Judith Ann Albert (nee Smith), Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, peacefully departed this mortal realm on Sunday, February 6, 2022; A Hero. Judy bravely battled Multiple Sclerosis on a daily basis, even after robbing her of her career in healthcare just as it begun and fiercely defeated Cancer. Those closest to her, knew she was always a fighter, giving it her all, even in her final years when the struggle was uphill, all while raising a family with her husband, Ricky. Judy was a bighearted woman who loved her family and adored animals, especially her dogs, and often took the opportunity to flash a warm smile to anyone, she was highly skilled at thrift store shipping and never missed the chance to give new life to an old relic. She was generous and kind, and she spent much of her healthier days tending to her flowers, enjoying the simple pleasures of life, and feeding the birds, always trying to keep busy with hobbies. Most of all, she loved her family and instilled strong values in her children that have served them well in their lives today. While her life seems short to many, those who were touched by her will, understand the quality of our time with her, outweighs the quantity of time in which one normally lives. Judy is survived by her husband, Ricky Albert, with whom she has shared over 37 years. She is also survived by her two children, Terry (Emily) DesRoches and Kathy (David) Gallant, and has three wonderful grandchildren, Austin, Victoria, and Lily. The family will have a quiet service the date is to be advised and a celebration of life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the MS Society of Canada or the PEI Humane Society would be appreciated. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Road, Summerside. Arrangements entrusted to the East Prince Funeral Home. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, the funeral service will be held by invitation.
