Obituary of Gaudet, Mary
The death occurred peacefully at the O'Leary Community Hospital, O'Leary on Friday, January 19th, 2018 of Mary (nee Perry) Gaudet of Miscouche, P.E.I., aged 91 years. Mary was born in Richmond, P.E.I. to the late Emmanuel and Alma (nee Gallant) Perry.
Beloved wife of the late Leonard Gaudet and loving mother of Bernadette (Jim) Isles, Dianne (Chesley) MacAusland and daughter in-law Beverly Gaudet. Also lovingly remembered by her 6 grandchildren Melissa (Pete), Christopher (Courtney), James, Christine, Shawn (Suzie) and Jeremy, 3 great grandchildren Chloe, Milo and Lily.
Survived by her sisters Julia Arsenault, Beatrice Arsenault and Carol Wedge and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Mary was predeceased by her son Charlie, brothers Theodore, Alyre, Ben, Prospere, Leo (Florence) and Louis (Mary) (Claire), brothers in-law Euclide Arsenault and Edward Arsenault.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018 then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for a funeral mass at 3:00 p.m. Interment to take place in church cemetery at a later date. Donations in Mary's memory to St. John the Baptist Cemetery or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
