Obituary of Arsenault, Simon Joseph
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 of Simon Joseph Arsenault of Bedeque, P.E.I. and formerly of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 59 years. Simon was born in Summerside to the late Gus and Mary (nee Caissie) Arsenault.
Beloved soul mate of Brenda Baglole and loving father of Angela (Nav) Dhillon, step-father of Shawn (Angela) Baglole and Calvin (Lynn) Baglole. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Annika, Kian and Isla.
Survived by his brother and sisters Donna Marie (Nick) Kelly, Clyde, Barb and Gloria Arsenault, uncle to John-Paul, Thomas, Nicholas and Brandon.
Predeceased by his sister Pat Arsenault.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday October 31st, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Donations in Simon's memory to the Toronto Sick Children's Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
