Obituary of LeBlanc, Roger Andrew
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Sunday, September 17th, 2017 of Roger Andrew LeBlanc of Summerside, P.E.I., and formerly of Amesbury, Mass., U.S.A., aged 77 years. Roger was born in Amherst, N.S. to his late parents Anthony and Annette (nee Bernier) LeBlanc.
Beloved husband of Yvonne (nee LeBel) LeBlanc and loving father of Andrea (Lloyd Locke), Richard, John Paul (Lisa MacDonald) all of Summerside, and Michelle (Brian) Ball of Groveland, Florida. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jennifer, Robbyn, and Darcy Hambly, Chandler LeBlanc, and Tyra and Cameron Ball, his great-grandchildren Damien, Keagan, Jaiden, MacKenzie, Mitchell, Spencer, Riley and Myles and many nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers and sisters: Leatrice Benoit, Diane Amyot, Stella (Fred) Crouse and Donna (Harold) Stewart and sister-in-law Christine LeBlanc.
Besides his parents, Roger was predeceased by his brother Leo and brothers-in-law Gilles Amyot and Joe Benoit.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, September 21st, where a funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Roger's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday afternoon, from 1:00 - 2:15 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
