Obituary of Yantha, Anthony "Tony" Robert
The death occurred peacefully with family by his side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Saturday September 16th, 2017 of Anthony "Tony" Robert Yantha of Clinton, P.E.I., aged 50 years. Tony was born in Englehart, ON.to his mother Margaret and his father the late Zigmond Yantha.
Beloved husband of Donna Yantha (nee Doucette) and loving step - father of Shawn (Angie) Sproule, Troy (Angela) Sproule, grandsons Daymon and Drayden and granddaughters MacKenzie and Olivia. Forever loved and missed by his mother and stepfather Margaret and Michael Kempinski.
Survived by the following brothers and sisters Steven Yantha, Daniel (Sheena) Yantha, Michael Jr. (Norma) Kempinski, Kathleen Weber, Elizabeth (Kal) Odendahl, Sheila (Mark) Purdy as well as several nieces and nephews.
His extended family David (Carol) Parker, Elaine Miousse, Claude (Susan) Simpson, Donna (Gus) Doucette as well as many friends.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday September 21st, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Tony's memory to the Funeral Expense Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
