Obituary of Luce, Paul Joseph
Gone to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loving family at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, August 3rd, 2017 Paul Joseph Luce of Bedeque, P.E.I., aged 66 years. Paul was born in Summerside to the late James and Bernadette (nee Gallant) Luce.
Beloved husband of Diane (nee Gallant) Luce and loving father of Jason (Melanie Hoover), Fernwood, Jennifer (Jennifer Pellerin), Kensington and Jamie (Lukas MacArthur), Bedeque. Proud grandfather of Landon, Hailey and Liam.
Survived by his sister Judy Gallant, Summerside, Mother in-law Margaret (Ernie) Arsenault, father in-law Peter (Ruth) Gallant, many brothers and sisters in-law and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brothers and sisters Lorraine (Francis Caissie), brother Dennis (Yvonne), Nancy (Stanley) Arsenault, Wanda (Channing "Chick") Connolly, Alban "Buck" (Helen), Betty, Diana and brother in-law Alder Gallan.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, August 7th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 P.M. Interment to take place in the Searletown Cemetery, Searletown at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Luce's memory to funeral expense fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2 - 4 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
