Obituary of Perry, Gordon David
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday July 4th, 2017 of Gordon David Perry of Summerside, aged 81 years. Gordon was born in Summerside to the late Edward and Regina (nee Arsenault) Perry.
Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Doucette) Perry and loving father of John, Summerside, Darlene (David) Greene, Bridgewater, NS., Jamie (Tara), Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his 6 grandchildren Emma, Abby, Ella, Taylyn, Eli, Blakely and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Gordon was predeceased by his sisters Ella, Avis and Hilda, brothers Edward, Clayton and Alfred.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, July 7th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery. Memorial donations in Gordon's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday from 1 until 2:45 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
