Obituary of MacDonald, Brodie Jeremy
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 9th, 2017 of Brodie Jeremy MacDonald of Summerside, P.E.I. aged 23 years. Brodie was born in Summerside. Son of Candi (nee MacDonald) and Paul Marchbank and also Darren Blanchard, all of Summerside. Loving father of Tate and Kayden.
Survived by his brothers and sisters Drake (Cindy), Reece, Jadden, Jaimi- Lee (Connor), his grandparents Valerie and Dean Lowther, Goldie Marchbank all of Summerside, Darlene and Jerry Blanchard of Elmsdale, his great-grandmother Lily Riley of Alberton and several uncles and aunts.
Brodie was predeceased by his grandfather Dale Marchbank.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, June 14th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 A.M. Memorial donations in Brodie's memory to the Funeral Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday evening only from 5 - 8 p.m.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
