Obituary of Bryenton, James Maynard
The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 of James Maynard Bryenton in his 88th year. Born inHamilton, P.E.I., son of the late Edgar and Carrie (Brander) Bryenton.
He is survived by his sons Daniel (Lauri) and David, daughter Sandra Bryenton, brothers Reginald (Jean) and Wallace (Betty), sister Thurza (John) Nicholson, sister in-law Phyllis Bryenton, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers George (Gladys) Heath, Ralph (Phyllis) and Delmar (Jo) Bryenton.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no funeral service or visiting hours held. Memorial donations in James's memory to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
