Obituary of Clow, Mary "Una"
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 16th, 2017 of Mary "Una" (nee Gaudet) Clow of Summerside and formerly of St. Nicholas, P.E.I., aged 87 years. Una was born in St. Nicholas to her late parents Wesley and Mary Ann (nee Arsenault) Gaudet.
Beloved wife of Milford Clow and loving mother of Cynthia (David) McNally, Sharon (Nelson) Blanchard, Joy (Peter) Steele, Darlene (David) Cass, Patsy (Roland) Richard, Angela (Dennis deceased) Dimion, Shelley (Gordon) MacFadyen and Susan (Mike Biggar) Clow. Also lovingly remembered by 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Teresa Arsenault, Cobourg, ON, Marjorie Denneny, Cornwall, ON, June Hart, Vernon, BC and Shirley Fitzpatrick, Lumby, BC.
Besides her parents, Una was predeceased by her grand daughter Jennifer Blanchard (in infancy), her brothers and sisters Freda, Irene, Lily, Willie, Norman, Dorothy, Joyce and Edna.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday, April 19th, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Una's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday evening only, 5 - 8 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
